EMPTY
You were once a mighty god, but one day you "accidentally" wiped out an entire kingdom of humans. As punishment, you were sent to a realm in between realms called the Empty. But this vast, empty dimension isn't meant to contain you.
It's meant to kill you.
EMPTY is a short speedrunning game where the only goal is to reach the end as quickly as possible. Avoid spikes and pits.
WASD or Arrow Keys to move. Shift to dash. Space to jump. Use ESC to exit the game, and R to restart the level.
(Warning: There's a lot of glitches. If you encounter one, report it to me, and restart the level :D )

This game has some potential but at the moment the controls and the camera are just a bit too dizzying.
The thing that I really enjoyed is the dash. Works great and the VFX for it is cool!
I encountered an area with a lot of white blocks and am not really sure what they are and how I should progress. Let's see if I can figure it out but I'll wait for an update for the movement first. :)
Anyway, cool concept! I love speedrunning stuff so I'll make sure to keep my eye on further updates.
So about the glitches there's a major one, where sometimes and only sometimes you spawn in the ground when you lose, and you have to restart the whole game, it can get annoying overtime but it's playable I guess.
The game idea is amzing a speedruning dead god or something lol, but the movement is kinda janky having the speed really high makes it uncontrollabele not faster.

There should be some checkpoints cuz its kinda hard u should also make ur camera pixel perfect so u cant see space between tiles from the tilemap
Oh and i had a glitch where i would spawn in the first platform after i died ( maybe it will go away if after i die my y velocity is set to 0 idk )
Thank you for the feedback, and letting me know about pixel perfect. I didn't know it existed :) regarding checkpoints, I considered adding them, but decided against it for a roguelike feel. Maybe I'll add an easier mode with checkpoints! And
